The prime
lamb industry is
still reliable and the focus of our breeding program
remains on meeting high industry standards. We strive to produce
strong, robust rams with fast early growth, excellent carcase
composition (high red meat yield in the loin and hindquarter), good skins and
downs wool and well structured frames. In recent years we have made excellent
genetic gain as we continue to source only the best genetics to complement our
flock. See our Lambplan data page.
All registered buyers who purchase rams will go into a prize draw to win
EXTINOSAD

Overview of our offering for 2006,
Displaying plenty of growth and muscle.
Congratulations to John Farley for
his good management and achievements topping the Murray Bridge Prime Lamb sale on 15/8/05
with his new season's sucker Wingamin sired lambs. It's great to see the lambs
performing in such a difficult season.

Taken from Stock Journal

The stud is committed to Quality Assurance and catering to our clients' needs.
We keep detailed pedigree and performance records and select for economically
important traits, ensuring our rams are:
:
Easy care, easy lambing, structurally correct and well balanced. Free of
wool on the face and legs to minimise grass seed problems.
:Will
capably perform well in tough
Mallee conditions over Merino
ewes to consistently produce the goods for trade or heavy
weights - Lambplan figures are available. Poor "doers" lacking vigour and
constitution are always culled.
: Productive, fast
early growth, well muscled and large framed. Hardy constitution and short, dense
Downs wool, keeping sucker lambs " fresher" for longer.
Our property is well fenced and well maintained, and this coupled with good
management practices ensures rams are presented to buyers without bad habits and
in the best of health. Rams are shorn in August, are backlined, drenched and
have received a full course of Glanvac 6 vaccinations.
